Children's Worship
Age
Children's Worship is intended to be an age appropriate time of worship and praise for children ages 3 through kindergarten. A child may join any time after his or her 3rd birthday (even in the middle of the school year).
The Program
On Sunday mornings, the children are dismissed from the morning worship service after the collection of the offering and prior to the sermon. The Pastor calls the children to the front of church for a short prayer, after which the Children's Worship teachers lead the children out of the sanctuary. The children first meet as a large group for singing and then split into 2 smaller groups (according to age) for the Bible lesson and craft or activity related to the lesson. A small snack is served.
Offering
We collect an offering in Children's Worship to help people in need. We explain to the children that God has blessed us in many ways, and we say thank you to God for his blessings by helping others.
We pray that God will lead and guide the leaders and children as they worship and learn about Him!
