The Messiah Cadet program is an exciting way to physically, intellectually, and spiritually prepare young boys as they approach manhood.
Each Monday night we meet for a number of different structured activities. There is an extensive badge program that involves everything from woodworking, hiking and knots, to discovering God’s Word, just to name a few.
As a regular part of the program the boys participate in “Fun Nights”. These exciting events have included swimming, basketball, dodge ball and volleyball. These activities are a fantastic way to burn off that youthful energy while teaching the boys about fair play, healthy competition, and teamwork. There is also community help and excursion nights.
As part of the larger organization of Cadets, there are a couple of yearly events that all surrounding Cadet clubs participate in. There is a Chuck wagon and Snow Derby camp out and an end-of-year Cadet-O-Rama, where the boys showcase all their crafts for the year.
The club is committed to ensuring the boys have a great time and in the process learn to understand their role in God’s creation and how they can make a difference.
